The Reason We Are Here!
Hey, welcome to The Life of a Young Preacher blog. I am excited that you have decided to join me as we journey through the life of a young millennial preacher who is striving for excellence in ministry, in career, and in relationship. I have decided to begin this blog, so that young ministry leaders have a way of encouraging one another as well as opening sight to a different and lively perspective of where we are in our ministries.
I am Jeremy N. H. Jamison, I have been in ministry for 15
years; the road hasn’t always been straightforward, I have spent many of night in prayer and supplication unto the Lord. My very call was in question due to starting at such a young age. Though I was not forced or pushed into the ministry; there are times when I just reflect in life and wonder if experiences would have been different if I hadn’t started so young.
In this blog, we will discuss more of that. Ministry is a significant part of my life. I currently serve as the Executive Pastor of Greater Faith Temple Family Worship Center Inc. and the Pastoral Assistant at Steppingstone Holiness Church, Inc. , but there are other areas that we as young preachers deal with that maybe we don’t just share or aren’t as open. Our journey needs a voice just because we all didn’t start in the same place, the goal is to arrive at the same place, Heaven! Excuse me, that was my Pentecostal side rising, lol.
