Revival is not just about a shout in church; it is about a shift in you. It is both internal and external, and it begins with looking into the Word of God like a mirror. That mirror does not simply reflect your face; it reveals the areas you must surrender so God can refine you.
Refinement stretches you. It cultivates you. It builds the capacity needed for the greater dimension God is calling you to. In every sphere, whether Church, Education, Law, or Business, mindsets of self-righteousness, self-gratification, and pride must be laid on the altar. Whether it is sin or simply extra weight, if it does not glorify God, it has to go.
Here is the truth. Revival changes everything: your thought life, your presence, and even your appearance. When God revives you from the inside, your walk, your talk, and your work carry a different energy. I know this firsthand. When I get a fresh haircut, my confidence feels different. When I do not, I move quietly, play it safe, and keep the pictures to a minimum. That is how some of us live spiritually, staying low key, playing it safe, and hiding.
But the Cave teaches you something. When you come out of survival mode and surrender to God’s refining, you do not just live, you possess. You step into territory you were not ready to handle before. And the reward is greater than what you left behind. He gives beauty for ashes, joy for mourning, and a garment of praise for heaviness.
So no matter your current state, choose revival. Praise. Worship. Pray. Fast. Allow God to work the change within you, because internal revival will always produce external transformation.
